Tired of city life?
Too much stress in work?
I guess, you need to relax your nerve.
Recommend you a short escape site.Only approximately 40 minutes drive from KL,
you can enjoy this effortless and refreshing journey at….
The French Village, Berjaya Hill @ Bukit Tinggi

In fact, here’s called Colmar Tropicale.
It’s a french-themed resort by Berjaya Group.
However, people normally named here as French Village.

French Village was built based on the ancient villages in France.
Here is always surrounded by the atmosphere of romance and stress-free.
It seems to bring its visitors back to the ancient France;
without worry, but only joy.

The resort was built up with 235 rooms and suites;
each building was paint with different colors.
Besides, there are shops, lounge, restaurants in the ground floor.
Visitors have vast choices for their meals,
since every restaurant offers their own cuisine;
either local or international.

List of Restaurants

  • La Cigogne – An authentic French Fine dining restaurant
  • Le Blason – A restaurant serving Malaysian and international specialities
  • La Flamme – A sidewalk deli Italian Restaurant
  • Le Poulet Roti – A café with roast chicken
  • La Boulangerie – A casual all day french bakery

It’s a tower at the end,
which allows visitors to go up and take photos of the whole French Village.
Visitors can choose to walk through staircase,
or visitors can choose to take lift directly to the top.

There is also an entertainment zone,
it seems like the games we can play in fun fair.
Visitors can buy tokens and win prizes through the games.
A huge and soft bear is always attracting the visitors to play.
Photoshoot is allowed with the bear.

If you are wondering why I was wearing a graduation gown,
don’t curious.
I was there to have my second round of pre-graduation photoshoot.
This time, I took with my parents.

Since French Village has such a beautiful view,
lots of people will purposely come for photoshoot.
Colmar Tropicale itself also offers wedding package.

Other than that,
you can also organize events there,
such as retreat, meeting, team building camp, etc.

French Village is a place that visitors/tourists can run away from the busy world.
People can truly enjoy themselves,
and refresh their minds.
Hence, I am highly recommending here for a short getaway trip;
for you and your families.

  1. Wow. I had no idea a place like this was so close to KL. I’ll be back in Malaysia next week and in KL early June. I’ll definitely have to check it out. Was going to ask if there was a bus but I see you’ve mentioned where we catch it. Thanks a bunch for pointing out a new adventure for us!
