Launch Preview: Mamonde To Debut In Malaysia This August 2016

Apparently, K-beauty brands have conquered the beauty world in Asia in these few years. Two weeks ago, Amore Pacific Malaysia (company which brings you Laneige, Innisfree, Sulwhasoo, etc.) has released its latest brand, Mamonde, which is expected to open its first beauty counter this August at Aeon One Utama Shopping Center. 


Thanks to Amore Pacific Malaysia and The Butterfly Project, I was invited to join their launch preview held at Royale Chulan Hotel, Mutiara Damansara. Without further ado, let’s start the beauty preview with Mamonde.



Mamonde, a French word for “My World”. It is one of the leading global premium cosmetic brands that offers a wide array of skincare, and makeup products to suit every woman’s daily needs. Apart from its country of origin South Korea, Mamonde has also been launched in U.S, China and Thailand; meanwhile, Malaysia will be officially launching in this coming August. 


Besides, “Inspired by Flowers” isn’t only the tagline of Mamonde, but also telling the consumers that Mamonde’s products are formulated by flowers extracts. Impressive, isn’t it? FYI, Mamonde is the first of its kind in the cosmetics market that uses only flowers as its key ingredient! 

It even has its own garden, Mamonde Garden in South Korea. Years of research and development, with the inception of a unique innovation and formulation to re-invent beauty.

During the launch preview, invited guests were blessed to be able to walk into the temporary Mamonde Garden. 


Here we were given a detailed briefing on the R&D of Mamonde which covers the 5 key flowers used in Mamonde formulation – Honeysuckle, Hibiscus, Lotus, Carmellia and Narcissus.


Following that, we were given the chance to experience all the product range.


Mamonde covers all skin type users. I have tried out some products, all are gentle to our skins. 


Not forget to mention, it is sweet-smelling. Well, a product made of flower extracts; for sure, the fragrance is nice!

The launch preview was ended with Flower Beauty Class, which participants were required to create an artwork with flower petals. 


It was an awesome experience; yet, I was curious whether I can complete my masterpiece within an hour. Well, I am not a person who can draw; hence, I did my best to do a quick sketch and create a flora dress with blue rose petals. It looks simple, but I put much effort to complete it. *Clap for me, please~*


It is my pleasure to be invited to the launch preview of Mamonde, and I can’t wait for the official launch in August! BTW, Mamonde products are expected to be priced between RM6 to RM169. I personally think that the price range is absolutely reasonable for a premium skin care and cosmetic range. 


FYI, Park Shin Hye is the brand ambassador of Mamonde, she may be coming during the official launch! Yes, I know you are excited like I am.

  1. The launch looks good dear and the rose moisturizing mask certainly looks very interesting 🙂 The Mamonde formulation seems really great as well with the infusion of various flowers of Honeysuckle, Hibiscus, Lotus, Carmellia & Narcissus.
